MAGIC POND, MAINE

Wildlife Sanctuary and Private Guest House

Hidden in the northern Aroostook County woods of Maine is a seventy-five acre entrance to the world as it began. With berried fields, cedar stands and a pond that disppears at will, Magic Pond is the artist's home with adjoining private guest quarters. Located within walking distance of the Canadian border, Magic Pond lies at the foot of Mars Hill, a skier's paradise and the first place in America touched by sunlight at dawn.

The grounds are traversed by every form of wildlife indigenous to Maine. The night sky is astounding. Visitors are invited by reservation year round to experience a source of creative renewal that lies on the edge of the wilderness, yet accessible to town. Professional coaching by the artist and the services of a registered guide are available.
